MAC valves use balanced, direct-acting designs meaning one valve model can handle vacuum to 120 psi. The same valve can be used in a variety of applications, eliminating the need to stock multiple valves. Also, a balanced valve will operate at the same high speed with exact repeatability. MAC’s patented oval armature puts more core metal and windings in every solenoid, meaning extremely high shifting forces and the ability to cut through tough contamination. This is best demonstrated in the fact that MAC recommends 40-micron filtration, whereas most competitors require costly 5-micron filtration.
