Manifolds for Pneumatic Automation

Manifolds
Manifolds are used to simplify the distribution connections on pneumatic and fluid systems.  The more complicated the system the more a manifold makes sense.  Some manifolds are designed specifically for valves where the interface is designed to match the valves which are held on by mounting screws.  Some manifolds have threaded ports and can be mounted at the most convenient junction location on the machine to reduce the number of fittings and pipe or tubing connections.  In any case, the manifolds can be ordered with the necessary number of stations to match your application requirements.  Manifolds can also be customized to best fit the size and system requirements of your application.

Most commonly manifolds are made of anodized aluminum but they are also available in Stainless Steel and a variety of plastic materials such as Delrin, Nylon and Polypropylene.  We would be able to select the best material for the gas or fluid that you are handling.  The most common threaded manifolds (non-valve specific) are designed with an inlet port on each end with the specified number of outlet ports located on a single face.  Manifolds are also available in other configurations such as 90° Output Ports (output ports on two faces), Dual Air Manifolds, Terminal Blocks and Junction Blocks

Air and fluid supply line routing is often an aspect of machine design that is overlooked.  This can result in system inefficiencies and also a chaotic look to the machine.  To help optimize your machine let one of our factory trained Technical Salespeople assist with an analysis of your machine piping just contact us
