Provoast Automation Controls has more than 23 years of experience in putting together Value Added Sub-Assemblies of the products that we represent. We can work off of your existing drawings or our Engineers can help you generate a Bill-Of-Materials for your application. These Value Added assemblies can be as simple as putting fittings and connectors on valves or as complicated as building control boxes and complete work benches.

Our Value Added assemblies can allow you to allocate your resources in areas that are more important. Use your personnel in areas that will make you money and use our Assembly department to save you money. The units we will provide you will come fully tested and ready to plug and play.

At Provoast Automation Controls, our approach is to analyze your machine performance and generate solutions to improve your efficiencies. Maybe you have components on a machine that are failing more than you think they should be failing. The world class manufacturers that we represent can analyze the failure modes that you are experiencing and deliver you a product that will work in the application. In many cases, this solution may be a drop in replacement dimensionally.

Our Sales Engineers are trained in use of test equipment that we can use to provide you documentation of the actual performance of the components that we are suggesting for your application.

We believe in showing our customers why our solutions and products are the best. That is why we have spent a lot of money on demonstration units that allow us to match your application as closely as possible and leave you with the proof that we our components can perform as needed. With your application parameters we can perform this testing either at our facilities or at yours. In most cases we can generate the necessary data that you will need to finalize your design or improve the performance of your machine with confidence.

For example, our TLD or Travelling Lab Demo unit allows us to hook up a valve to an actuator and give you a print out that will show you to the millisecond when your cylinder begins to move and when you have completed the stroke. We can use the TLD to compare valve performance between MAC and our competitors or just to verify that we can operate at the necessary speed for the application whether actuating a cylinder within a certain time span or creating an air pulse to reject a product in sorting applications that can reach up to 120,000 cycles per minute.

At Provoast Automation Controls our factory trained Sales Engineers will help you to select the most cost effective components that will meet your application requirements. To effectively do this we have a variety of demonstration test kits that allow us to prove that the components we select will work the way we tell you that they will. A side benefit of having these engineering tools available is that we can utilize them to train your Engineering and Maintenance personnel on how Pneumatic and Electronic automation components work and the best practices that will allow them to perform trouble free for extended periods of time.

We offer training classes in various Pneumatic components such as Valves, Actuators, Air Preparation, and Vacuum. These classes are not “Sales” presentations for why our “Best in Class” components will outperform our competitors. They are intended to show how these components work – whether the brands we represent or our competitors – how to trouble shoot them on your machines, and what things to avoid that shorten their life. We can use our Electrical Automation demonstration units to do similar classes as we do the Pneumatic classes shown above.

The classes are generally about an hour in length but we can tailor them to meet your time constraints. We can make arrangements to conduct the training at various times to allow all of your employees to be trained regardless of what shift they work. If you are an existing customer then our training classes are free. If you are not a customer then buy something so we don’t have to charge you anything. The only classes that regularly would have a charge associated with them would be PLC or Touch Screen programming. In those cases then usually the cost of training is a separate charge or generally you can buy a starter package as the entry fee into the school.
